Mascot:
Ari (아리 in Korean) and Omi (오미 in Korean) are the official mascots
of the 'World Peace Festival: the 6th Culture and Sports Celebration of
Restoring Light'.
Ari (아리) and Omi (오미)
The first syllable of the name Ari, 'A (아)', is derived from
the first letter of the Greek alphabet 'alpha (A)'.
And the first syllable of the name Omi, 'O (오)' is also derived from
the last letter of the Greek alphabet 'omega (Ω)'.
As you know, 'alpha and omega' is the beginning and the end.
But there are more important and deeper Biblical meanings
in Shinchonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.
The term Alpha and Omega comes from the phrase
"I am the Alpha and the Omega" an appellation of Jesus
in the Book of Revelation (Rev 1:8, 21:6, and 22:13).
In Rev 22:13, Jesus says,
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the First and the Last,
the Beginning and the End.”
This means that God rules the beginning and the end.
In other words, God promises something and he always fulfills it.
Specifically, as promised in the New Testament prophecies,
the words of Revelation have been physically fulfilled
and God's work is in its final stage now.
Here are Ari and Omi who are dressed in Korean traditional ceremonial clothes
for wedding.
They represent the bridegroom and the bride in the wedding banquet of heaven.
In the Book of Revelation, the wedding that has yet to occur is described.
In Rev 18, Babylon which is a home for demons is fallen completely.
After this, there is a wedding banquet of the Lamb in Rev 19.
The holy spirits of heaven come to unite with God’s people on earth
so they can all worship God together (Rev 14:1-5, Rev 21).
This means the spiritual marriage between spirits(bridegrooms) and flesh(brides)
in the house of the Lamb's wedding banquet.

Furthermore, you will never cease to amaze
when you realize the Biblical meaning of various accessories
such as head gears, belt, jewelry completed the outfit,
the lantern (chung-sa-cho-rong 청사초롱 in Korean) in a bride's hand,
and even red dots on a bride's face.
